RAATUSE 22

Living conditions

Raatuse 22 student residence was built in 2002 and is the most international building in the Student Village. In addition to Estonian students, many international and exchange students live here as well.

The residence consists of three-room apartments that include both single and double rooms. The residents of each apartment share a kitchen equipped with a stove and a refrigerator. The toilet and shower room are located separately, which makes shared living more convenient.

The building also includes accessible rooms that are specially adapted for residents with reduced mobility.

At the heart of the building is a spacious lobby, where residents can play table tennis, socialize, or simply relax. In addition, there is a separate lounge on the first floor, used for watching movies, playing board games, or studying in a quiet space.

The dormitory has an elevator, a self-service laundry room, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building. There is also a bicycle parking area outside.
Behind the building is a large parking lot, where parking is available for a fee.

There are 3 twin rooms in the apartment. Tenants share the kitchen, shower room and toilet.

Each tenants has a bed, a desk, a chair, a closet and a shelf.

Short term students

Short-term students are accommodated in the Student Hostel at Raatuse 22. 
Please note that short-term accommodation is managed separately, and more information is available on the dedicated Student Hostel homepage.

Location

Raatuse 22 student dormitory is located just outside the city center – it takes only 5–7 minutes to walk to the heart of the city and the University of Tartu main building.

The Tartu bus station is very close by, and a grocery store in the neighboring building makes daily shopping quick and convenient.
